History
The scientific high school “Leonardo da Vinci” was founded in 1970. At the beginning, the central building was in the “Salita delle Fieschine”. Then from 2004/2005 the headquarters of the Jesuite institute “Istituto Arecco” became the building of the high school.
Thus currently the high school is in Via Arecco 2, behind Piazza Manin and it has two more branches: one in Largo Giardino and one in via S. Allende.
The students come from various residential areas of the city, from the centre to small municipalities in the hinterland. This provides an opportunity for exchange and integration between students with sometimes different lifestyles.
